How do you send a Super Bowl party invitation?
Post one shared link in the group chat, where friends add their names, or text each friend a private link for a two-tap reply. Guests add plus-ones and what they're bringing on the same reply. Hejmo is free, with no ads or guest accounts.
The count decides the wings order
A watch party lives or dies on two numbers: how many people are coming, and how much food that takes. Friends reply with a thumbs-up in the group chat, and you still don't know if it's eight or eighteen.
Post the shared link in the group chat, where anyone can add their name, or text each friend their own link. Allow extra guests, and a friend's partner or roommate comes with the reply.
Add a free sign-up list for dips, snacks, and drinks, and guests type what they're bringing when they say yes. Put kickoff time, parking, and whether kids are welcome in the details.
How much food for a Super Bowl party
Hejmo gives you the count. The usual rules of thumb do the rest.
- Wings: 6 to 8 pieces per guest
- That's with other snacks out. For 15 guests, order about 100 pieces, and more if wings are the main event.
- Pizza: a large feeds about three
- Plan on two or three slices per adult. Order for halftime, when everyone gets hungry at once.
- Drinks: three or four per guest
- The game, the pregame, and the commercials run about four hours. Put out water and something without alcohol too.
- Ice: about a pound per guest
- More if you're chilling cans in a cooler instead of the fridge.
Keep it from becoming four bags of chips
On your event page, tap “Set up a sign-up list” and pick “Guests write their own.” Guests see what's coming so far and type what they'll bring once they say yes.
A dish close to one already coming gets a gentle note, but guests can still add it; it's a nudge, not a rule. Guests see the food, not who's bringing it, and you see both.
For more structure, list what you need yourself, such as “A dip,” “Something sweet,” or “A case of drinks,” and guests tap the one they'll take.
Optional. Add what you're bringing so others can see it.

- Brownies

When to send a Super Bowl party invitation
- 2 to 3 weeks before
- Send it in late January. Once the conference championships set the matchup on January 31, friends start making plans.
- Thursday before
- Make this the RSVP deadline, so you can order wings and pizza for the real count.
- Saturday
- Copy a nudge for anyone still at Maybe and send it in your own chat.
Where Super Bowl party planning gets messy
- A thumbs-up isn't a headcount
- Half the group chat reacts, a few say “maybe,” and you're ordering food for a number you made up.
- Four bags of chips and no dip
- Without a list, everyone grabs the same thing on the way over.
- Friends bring friends
- Someone's roommate and their cousin show up at kickoff, and the couch was already full.
- It's Valentine's Day this year
- In 2027 the game falls on February 14, so some friends will have dinner plans. You find out who at halftime.
Three steps from invite to headcount
It works the way your friends already talk: by text and group chat.
Add your guests
Add each friend or couple you're inviting, or skip the list and use the shared link. Set whether plus-ones are welcome, and add a sign-up list for the food.
Share the link
Text it or post it in the group chat. Guests read the details, then tap Yes, No, or Maybe and add what they're bringing, with no account or app.
Order for the real count
Your dashboard shows who's coming, who they're bringing, and what's on the table. Copy a nudge for the maybes and send it yourself.
