About Hejmo

Hejmo is the headcount tool for family events — kid birthdays, class parties, reunions, dinners. Every family gets one private link, everyone answers in two taps without an account, and the headcount fills in live instead of scattering across thirty group-chat messages.

It exists because coordinating 15–25 families from a phone shouldn't mean chasing people for a week. The logistics — links, nudges, rosters, the live count — are free. Hejmo makes money one way: an optional design upgrade for hosts who want their invite to look extra polished.

That one-way-to-make-money detail shapes everything else. There are no ads on your invites, no guest accounts, no phone-number verification, and nobody is ever asked to upload their contacts. Your guest list isn't the product; the tool is.

Hejmo is independently built and run by one developer. No growth team, no data brokers — just one person who thinks a headcount should take two taps.
