Hejmo in ChatGPT and Claude
Plan a kid's birthday, class party, shower, reunion, or memorial by chatting with your assistant. It creates the invitation, gives every family its own RSVP link, and tells you who's coming and who still needs a nudge.
Connect your Hejmo account
- Claude: open Customize, then Connectors, and find Hejmo in the directory. You can also choose Add custom connector and enter
https://hejmo.app/mcp. - ChatGPT: search for Hejmo in the plugin directory and connect it.
Either one opens a Hejmo window where you log in or create a free account, then choose Allow. Your assistant can then work with your events. You only do this once.
Things to ask
- “Set up Maya's 7th birthday, Saturday the 14th at 2pm at Lakeside Park in Seattle.”
- “Here's the class list. Add each family.”
- “Give me the messages to send each family, and one for the class group chat.”
- “How's the party looking?”
- “The Parks texted me, they're all coming.”
- “Add a sign-up list: cupcakes, juice boxes, and two people for setup.”
- “Who hasn't replied? Write me reminders.”
Setting up an event is a short conversation. The assistant asks only for what's missing (what it is, when, and where), shows you a draft, and creates the event once you agree. Then it offers the next steps one at a time: an RSVP deadline, the families, a sign-up list of what to bring, and the messages to send. Skip any of them.
What your assistant can do
- Create events, change their details, and archive events that are over.
- Add families from a pasted class list or guest list, rename them, add or remove people, or take a family off the list.
- Write a ready-to-send message for each family with its own private RSVP link, plus one message with the shared link for a group chat.
- Show the headcount, list families who haven't replied with a reminder for each, and save a reply a family gave you in person or by text.
- Add, change, or remove items on the event's sign-up list.
Hejmo never sends anything through your assistant. You send the messages yourself, and each private link answers for one family only, so send it to that family and not to a group chat. Cover designs, photos, invitation styles, custom links, and thank-you notes are set on the event page at hejmo.app; your assistant gives you the link.
Your data
Your assistant sees your events, guest lists (family names and first names), RSVP replies, and sign-up lists, only after you allow it. It never receives guests' email addresses, your password, or payment details. The privacy policy explains what Hejmo keeps and for how long.
To disconnect, remove Hejmo in your assistant's connector or plugin settings.
If something doesn't work
- Asked to log in again? Your assistant's access renews on its own; if it stops working after a long break, disconnect and connect again.
- Wrong time? Tell the assistant the town or time zone. Hejmo keeps the time you say in the event's own time zone.
- Email support@hejmo.app with what you asked and what happened.
